3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell has been arrested for driving under the influence, according to a report.
Harrell was taken into custody on Tuesday in D’Iberville, Mississippi after police found him passed out in his car at a street intersection, reports TMZ.com.
Law enforcement officials believe he was under the influence of drugs.
D’Iberville police chief Wayne Payne tells the Associated Press, “On arrival our officers made contact with the driver and there were signs of his being impaired. We don’t know what the substance is at the time. We sent the sample on to the crime lab for testing.”
The 42 year old has been released on a $1,789 cash bond.
This is the second DUI arrest for Harrell since July, 2012, when he was detained in D’Iberville after he failed to stop at an intersection and crashed into a pick-up truck.
He is also awaiting trial for vehicular homicide by intoxication, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, violation of the implied consent law and possession of contraband charges related to a fatal car crash in Tennessee last April.
