Rapper 50 Cent is claiming to have triumphed in a long-running dispute with a hip-hop website after he accused the owners of using his image and content without permission.
The hip-hop star filed a lawsuit against bosses at Worldstarhiphop.com back in 2009, and on Monday, he took to his Twitter.com page to tell fans he had forced the site to shut down.

The website subsequently came back online, with the owner claiming the disruption was due to technical problems and not to do with 50 Cent.

But the In Da Club hitmaker remains adamant he’s winning his war against the website.

In a series of posts on Twitter, he writes, “I don’t know why people underestimate me. I just shut down Worldstar. For future advertising contact Thisis50.com suckers… I put Worldstar to bed, you don’t believe try me (and) I will shut your s**t down… I predict 2 more websites will shut down this week. Take a guess who they are. I’m sick of the hate I’m to (sic) strong.”
