Oscar-nominated director Alfonso Cuaron is heading to the small screen after teaming up with old friend J.J. Abrams for a new TV series.
The Gravity filmmaker is the brains behind upcoming drama Believe, about a gifted 10-year-old girl who has to fend off sinister forces.
He has shot the first few episodes with a cast that includes actors Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung and Jake McLaughlin, with Lost co-creator Abrams serving as an executive producer.
Cuaron and Abrams announced the new project during an interview at the Television Critics Association press tour in California on Sunday.
Believe, Cuaron’s first TV venture, will premiere on the NBC network in March.
