British rockers Arctic Monkeys ensured guitarist Jamie Cook would have a birthday to remember on Friday – by leading a mass sing-a-long at Scotland’s T In The Park festival to wish him Happy Birthday.
The Fluorescent Adolescent hitmakers headlined the three-day music event, which kicked off on Friday near Kinross.

The rockers performed tracks old and new, but there was one song everyone in the crowd knew all the words to as they broke into a rendition of Happy Birthday midway through their set to mark Cook turning 26.

Frontman Alex Turner also introduced rocker Miles Kane to the stage for their final track, 505. The pair work together on their side project, the duo act The Last Shadow Puppets.

Beyonce and her pal Chris Martin’s band Coldplay are set to relive their triumph at last month’s Glastonbury festival by headlining T In The Park’s second night on Saturday.
