Barbra Streisand performed with her sister Roslyn Kind in public for the first time in Canada on Wednesday when the siblings reworked the veteran entertainer’s iconic Judy Garland duet during her concert in Montreal.
The superstar delighted audiences at the Bell Center by introducing singer/actress Kind to the spotlight and singing Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again, the tune Streisand and Garland made famous on the The Judy Garland Show in the 1960s.
The sisters’ collaboration in Canada wasn’t Streisand’s only career first on her current tour – she kicked off her Back To Brooklyn live shows by returning to her native New York borough last week to play her first ever hometown gig at the newly-opened Barclays Center, where she performed a special duet with her son Jason Gould.
