Take That star Gary Barlow has apologised to T’pau star Carol Decker after mocking her singing talents while judging a contestant on Britain’s The X Factor on Saturday night.
Wannabe pop star Amelia Lily took to the stage during Saturday’s episode of the hit TV talent show to perform her rendition of Decker’s popular 1987 track China in Your Hand, and impressed Barlow with her efforts.

However, he appeared to take aim at Decker’s vocals on the single when he told Lily that it was nice to hear the song being sung in tune for once.

The 1980s pop star subsequently took to Twitter.com to angrily berate Barlow, writing, “Gary Barlow you t**t! & I had to suffer a Take That concert for the sake of my kids this summer. What’s your f**king problem? I actually have perfect pitch.”

Barlow immediately backed down over his remarks and offered his remorse, replying, “Sincere apologies for my comment.there was no need. And sorry you had to sit through TT (Take That) show. The things we do for our kids!”
