Boy George Turns 50 With Crazy Costume Party

Eccentric singer Boy George celebrated his 50th birthday in flamboyant style on Tuesday with a star-studded fetish-themed party in London.
The Karma Chameleon hitmaker, who hit 50 on Wednesday, marked his milestone with a bash at The Lightbox club in the British capital and asked friends to arrivein their most colourful costumes.

Guests showed up in leather bondage gear, body paint and outrageous wigs, while one reveller dressed as Boy George in his Culture Club heyday.

The singer later ‘Tweeted’, “It was a great birthday surrounded by ghouls, freaks & transvestites! Perfect – and for me a day at the office!”

Celebrity guests included Beth Ditto, Culture Club drummer Jon Moss, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, Pete Burns and Frankie Goes to Hollywood star Holly Johnson.
