Casey Kasem Laid To Rest In Private Memorial

Broadcaster Casey Kasem’s family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at a private memorial on Saturday.
The beloved DJ, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, died of complications from dementia on Sunday.
Kasem was laid to rest in Los Angeles, California with 100 close friends and family in attendance, according to family representative Danny Deraney.
Radio broadcasts were played during the ceremony, which also featured speeches from his children. Pop music arranger David Campbell brought the mourners to tears with an emotional performance of Stephen Sondheim’s Send in the Clowns on violin.
