Michael Jackson’s disgraced physician Conrad Murray has lost his manslaughter appeal.
The doctor, who was convicted of administering the dose of anesthetic Propofol which killed the King of Pop in 2009, was fighting to clear his name and win back his lost medical license – but California appeals court officials formally shut him down on Wednesday.
Murray maintained that Jackson killed himself by injecting the fatal dose of Propofol, but the lawmakers ruled the evidence still indicates that he was responsible for the pop star’s death, according to TMZ.com.
The doctor served almost two years behind bars after he was found guilty of manslaughter. He was released in October.
