Singer Gavin Degraw is in a stable condition after reportedly suffering a broken nose in an altercation in New York on Monday.
New reports allege the I Don’t Want to Be hitmaker sustained a broken nose and facial lacerations after he was confronted by a gang of thugs and brutally beaten after dining with friends in Manhattan.

The New York Daily News also claims the star appeared to be intoxicated when he was accosted.

DeGraw was then hit by a taxi as he stumbled away from the scene at around 4.30am local time, although the collision was not thought to be serious.

DeGraw was taken by ambulance to Bellevue Hospital and his condition was reported as stable by Monday night.

Police are said to be investigating the assault, which took place just hours after the 34 year old returned to the Big Apple following his opening performance on the Maroon 5 and Train tour in Connecticut.
