Cops have raided Pete Doherty’s hotel room in Germany amid claims the British rocker was involved in a burglary at a record store.
The Libertines frontman is under investigation by officers in the Bavarian city of Regensburg following a break-in at a local shop in the early hours of Tuesday.

His name was given to police by a woman who witnessed the burglary, and on Tuesday evening authorities swooped on a hotel where Doherty has been staying as he films scenes for his role in French production Confession d’un Enfant du Siecle.

His room was searched and no incriminating items were found, but the singer/guitarist has now been handed a summons and is due to be quizzed by cops at a secret location on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers want to know where he was at the time of the burglary and also who he spent Monday night with.
