Fashion gurus Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been sentenced to serve 18 months behind bars in Italy for tax evasion.
An Italian appeals court judge upheld the duo’s 2013 conviction for allegedly avoiding taxes on approximately 1 billion euros in the 2004 sale of their Dolce & Gabbana and D&G brands.
A lower court judge handed the pair suspended 20-month jail sentences and fined them last June.
