Actor Eric Stonestreet was escorted from his seat at the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game on Saturday night after allegedly becoming embroiled in a heated argument with a rival fan.
The Modern Family star was cheering on his home team against the St. Louis Cardinals when he appeared to take offense to a man heckling a Dodgers player.
Video footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ.com, shows the pair exchanging words before security guards arrived on the scene and asked them both to leave their seats.
Stonestreet was then pictured speaking to security personnel in the hallway of Dodgers Stadium to resolve the matter, but he insists he did not get booted from the venue completely as some reports have suggested.
Taking to his Twitter.com page on Sunday, he writes, “i did NOT get kicked out of the Dodgers game last night. did i get escorted to the top of the stairs by security? yes. yes i sure did.”
