Jodie Foster’s estranged father will have to wait another day to learn his fate after missing his sentencing for a property scam on Thursday.
Julius Foster’s victims and friends were all in court in Van Nuys, California but the 89 year old failed to show after reportedly missing a bus.

The sentencing hearing will now take place on Friday.

On Wednesday, Foster was found guilty on 30 counts of grand theft and operating without a contractor’s license as part of a property scam.

Foster allegedly offered to build 20 homes and took deposits from prospective buyers in the San Fernando Valley, and then pocketed the cash when the construction work fell through.

He faces a maximum of 25 years behind bars.
