British funnyman Stephen Fry is leading fans in a tribute to the victims of the twin attacks on Norway with a minute of silence on Monday.
Norwegian citizens are in mourning after a bomb ripped through Oslo’s government district on Friday. Hours later, a gunman embarked on a shooting spree at a youth camp, killing more than 90 people in total.

The tragedy made headlines around the world, prompting a slew of famous faces including Katy Perry, Coldplay and Boy George to express their devastation.

Now Alice in Wonderland star Fry is calling for people around the world to join him in a minute of silence on Monday evening British time to honor those who died.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, “One minute’s silence planned for Norway at 11pm GMT.”

Fry also sent his sympathies to a friend in Norway, adding: “I have a dear regular twitter correspondent who is Norwegian. My heart goes out to her in this moment of her country’s grief and shock.”
