Lady Gaga has ended her business partnership with retailer Target over its controversial policies on political donations, according to a new report.
The Bad Romance hitmaker pulled out of an exclusive deal after company chiefs allegedly refused to promise never to back political candidates or groups believed to be anti-gay.

The singer had agreed to release a limited edition of her track Born This Way at the stores if Target increased its support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

Her representative tells EOnline.com, “Lady Gaga and Target came to a mutual decision to end their overall exclusive partnership a few weeks ago.”

Gaga previously admitted she struggled to make a decision about the Target deal, telling Billboard.com, “That discussion (with Target) was one of the most intense conversations I’ve ever had in a business meeting… Our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they’ve made supporting those (anti-gay) groups.”
