Seventies teen pin-up Leif Garrett has pleaded no contest to heroin possession and will enter a Los Angeles drug rehabilitation program.
The 48-year-old singer entered the plea on Friday and was sentenced to a court-ordered drug treatment center.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after cops spotted him behaving strangely at a Los Angeles subway station in February.

He allegedly confessed to having black tar heroin in his shoe, but pleaded not guilty to the charge when he was initially arraigned.

Garrett recently joined the cast of celebrity drug counsellor Dr. Drew Pinsky’s reality show Celebrity Rehab.
