Injured rocker Gem Archer will have to wait even longer before he makes his stage comeback after breaking his leg in two places.
The Beady Eye star had a metal pin inserted in his leg following the freak accident, and he will have to wear a cast for at least four months.
It comes just weeks after Archer was hospitalized with severe head trauma, forcing Beady Eye to pull out of a series of concerts.
A source tells The Sun, “Gem’s on a bad run of luck right now. First the fall down the stairs and now this. He can’t even explain how it happened. It was just a freak accident. His leg gave way under him and just went. He’s got a double fracture to the tibia and fibula, the two long bones in the lower leg.”
