Gregg Allman was forced to skip two concerts with The Allman Brothers Band in New York after coming down with bronchitis.
The veteran rocker missed out on his shows at the Big Apple’s iconic Beacon Theatre on Friday and Saturday night as he was recovering from the illness.
Posts on the official Facebook page for the band updated fans with his status, asking that they send “healing vibes his way”.
An update posted on Sunday reads, “No guarantees but Gregg is improving and hopes to return to the stage for the last four Beacon shows.”
The Allman Brothers Band began their 14-show run on 7 March and will end the mini-residency next Saturday.
