Bobby Brown has pulled out of a concert to be with his daughter Bobbi Kristina as she deals with anxiety issues following the death of her mother Whitney Houston.
Brown was due to perform with his reunited R&B group New Edition in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday but he cancelled his appearance to be with 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina in Los Angeles.
The teen was reportedly taken from the Beverly Hilton hotel, where her mother died on Saturday, to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on a stretcher. Once admitted, medics treated her for stress and anxiety.
Her condition is not thought to be life threatening.
Brown told of his devastation as he played a concert in Mississippi on Saturday night, just hours after learning of the singer’s death and after deciding to go on with the show.
He broke down onstage during an emotional ballad, and asked the audience to pray for his daughter and family.
Brown and Houston divorced in 2007 after 15 years of marriage. Bobbi Kristina is their only child.
