Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl has fired back at late Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain’s widow Courtney Love over her allegations he tried to seduce the couple’s daughter.
Love updated her ‘Guess What Courtney Said Now’ tweet alert on Tuesday night with claims Grohl “hit on” her teenage daughter Frances Bean Cobain. The private posts were obtained by Gawker.com and published.

She wrote, “I hear from frannies (Frances’) roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I’m not mad at her, him i am about to shoot, dead.”

According to Love, Frances Bean and the 43-year-old Foo Fighters frontman were recently all over each other in the backseat of a car: “The driver… was telling me… that he had his hands all over her.”

She also alleged that Grohl, who has been married since 2003, is “sexually obsessed” with Frances Bean and has slept with many of her friends over the years.

But Grohl has now taken aim at Love, insisting her Twitter.com rant is completely false.

A statement from him reads: “Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”

Frances Bean, who is estranged from her mother, has yet to comment on the Twitter allegations. The 19 year old is engaged to rocker Isaiah Silva.
