A man accused of attempting to break into Paris Hilton’s Hollywood Hills home last summer has been charged with a felony count of attempted residential burglary.
Nathan Lee Parada, 31, faces three years behind bars when he is sentenced in June.

Hilton was at home when knife-wielding Parada attempted to break-in; her boyfriend Cy Waits, who was with the socialite at the time, confronted and apprehended him until police arrived and took the potential burglar into custody.

Hilton went to court to testify against Parada on Wednesday. Outside the courthouse in Van Nuys, Waits was attacked by another man, James Rainford, who has since been sentenced to serve 227 days behind bars, and ordered to stay away from Hilton and Waits after his release.
