Jackson’s Legacy To Live On At Chinese Theatre With Glove And Footprint Ceremony

Michael Jackson’s signature jewelled glove and one of his performance shoes are to be planted into the cement outside Hollywood landmark the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
The King of Pop’s three children, his mother Katherine and other members of the Jackson clan will help cement the late singer’s place in history during a spectacular hand and footprint ceremony on 26 January.

Prince, Paris and Blanket will select the shoe that will be used for the event and the Jackson estate will donate one of the singer’s sequined gloves.

The cast of Cirque de Soleil’s acclaimed Jackson tribute show, The Immortal World Tour, will also be on hand for the celebration and his brother Jackie Jackson has revealed members of the family will perform for fans at the event.

Announcing the news on TV show Access Hollywood Live on Thursday morning, he said, “It’s going to be an exciting day.”
