Jay-Z gave a pair of gig-goers a shock during his charity show in New York on Monday by making a surprise appearance in their box during the finale.
The rapper took to the stage at Manhattan’s famous Carnegie Hall with stars including Nas and Alicia Keys to raise money for the United Way of New York City and his own Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

The concert, the first of two, had a surprise ending for two fans as Jay-Z walked off stage towards the end of the show and reappeared in their balcony box.

A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, “There were these two banker-looking dudes who Jay just kept pointing to all night, feeling their energy. So he just went up there. They were freaking out.”

The hip-hop star stood on a seat in the box to perform a medley of his hits before making his way back down to the stage.
