Rapper Jim Jones has settled charges relating to a casino arrest in February by agreeing to pay a $1,000 fine.
The Diplomats member was taken into custody after he was allegedly involved in fight at the MGM Grand in Connecticut following a party hosted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Jones was charged with breach of peace and inciting a riot – claims he denied – but he managed to reach a plea deal with prosecutors and the case returned to court on Tuesday.
During the hearing, the hip-hop star accepted guilt for a charge of interfering with a police officer in exchange for authorities dropping the other two misdemeanours, reports TMZ.com.
Jones was fined and the case was officially closed.
