Actor Josh Brolin has vowed to stop drinking alcohol after he became embroiled in two altercations over the weekend.
The No Country for Old Men star was filmed scuffling with a security guard at O’Brien’s Irish Pub in Santa Monica, California, after he was asked to leave at closing time on Saturday, and it later emerged he had clashed with a taxi driver the previous day.
The actor has now confirmed to TMZ.com that he is embarrassed by his drunken antics and has promised to give up boozing.
Asked by a reporter from the website whether he will give up drink, the actor replies, “Absolutely. It won’t be happening again. That’s it. Completely done.”
