Katy Perry has made chart history on America’s Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay countdown by scoring 46 weeks at number one.
The pop star’s Dark Horse has landed a fourth week at number one, giving Perry one week more at the top than Mariah Carey.
In the 21 years of the chart, Perry and Carey are the only performers to rack up over 40 weeks at number one – Pink and Rihanna share third place with 32 weeks at number one and Ace of Base round out the top five with 29.
