Actor Kevin Spacey thrilled a group of cops on Monday by visiting a local police station to personally thank officers who attended the scene of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The American Beauty star, who filmed movie 21 in the Massachusetts city, made an impromptu visit to the Boston Police at District-4 to meet with officers who responded when two bombs exploded at the finish line of the annual race on 15 April.
The actor shook hands with the cops and handed out free passes to movie streaming website Netflix.com.
A source tells the Boston Herald, “He just came into the station, unannounced, and was shaking hands and thanking the guys.”
Earlier in the day, Spacey also visited the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown to spend time with those who were injured in the blasts.
