A lawyer for Outkast star Big Boi is confident the rapper will be “completely exonerated” following his arrest for alleged drug possession on Sunday.
The hip-hop star was taken into custody in Miami, Florida and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Customs officials allegedly arrested Big Boi after discovering a stash of ecstasy pills, MDMA powder and non-prescription Viagra.

His attorney Daniel Kane tells CNN the rapper was leaving a cruise ship with a group of friends when the drugs were discovered.

Kane explains, “A small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage… I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated.”
