Rapper Lil Wayne was involved in a scuffle with members of boxer Marcos Maidana’s entourage after the fighter was beaten by Floyd Mayweather, Jr. during a bout in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The hip-hop superstar helped his pal Mayweather, Jr. prepare for the fight by performing his new song Believe Me as the boxer made his way to the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Justin Bieber was also at the fighter’s side and watched from ringside as he went on to win by a majority decision.
Lil Wayne was later involved in a backstage bust-up with a member of Maidana’s team, believed to be his trainer Robert Garcia, after he was reportedly hit on the shoulder by a water bottle.
In video footage which has emerged, the rapper is heard shouting: “Let’s go, n**ga,” before he is restrained by two men in his own entourage.
