Lindsay Lohan will flee Hollywood and head home to the East coast of America after she is released from rehab, according to her mother.

The Mean Girls actress is currently on a court ordered rehab course following her 13-day stint in prison for violating her probation in a 2007 DUI arrest.

The prosecutor in the actress’ case recently revealed that the star’s time in the center will be cut down from the original 90-day stretch on the recommendation of medical professionals.

And Lohan’s mom Dina insists her daughter will shun the bright lights of Los Angeles when she is freed and head back to her hometown, New York.

In an interview with NBC’s Today show about her troubled daughter, Dina says “(She) will be coming back to New York. It’s a different game you play there (California). The court system is a little different.”

The interview will be aired in the U.S. on Friday.
