Lindsay Lohan has blasted allegations she was involved in a hit-and-run outside a Hollywood nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday, insisting it’s all “a complete lie”.
The embattled Mean Girls star is accused of accidentally striking a man with her Porsche as she left The Sayers Club just after midnight.

She was photographed speaking to police moments after driving away from the scene of the alleged incident, and it has since been reported that the unidentified male has sought medical attention at a hospital for injuries.

Editors at TMZ.com also claimed the man planned to press charges.

But Lohan has now spoken out about the allegations in a bid to clear her name – and she’s adamant no such hit-and-run occurred even though she admits she did briefly stop by the club.

Taking to Twitter.com later on Wednesday morning, she writes, “Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I’ve been at community service. Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn’t even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi.

“These false accusations are absurd.”

The actress is working to get her career back on track after a string of legal issues and rehab stints.
