Charlie Sheen’s actor father Martin is set to play his onscreen dad in new TV show Anger Management.
The actor, who was fired from hit sitcom Two and a Half Men last year, is preparing to make his small screen comeback in the new comedy, which is set to debut over the summer.
Sheen, who plays a former baseball star undergoing therapy, will be joined onscreen by co-stars including Selma Blair and Brett Butler and he has now revealed that when the character’s onscreen father turns up in the show, he will be played by his real life dad, Martin.
He tells Access Hollywood, “Yeah it’s very true… As the show’s developed, we’re discovering who my family is as I discuss them. We’re going to find out this guy does have major issues with his pop and when that character does finally show up, it will be my dad.”
