Two men who were accused of stealing the roof of actor Paul Walker’s death car have been charged with felony grand theft.
Jameson Witty and Anthony Janow each faces one felony count of grand theft of personal property, after they made off with parts of the wreckage from the Porsche Carrera GT the Fast & Furious star took his final ride in on 30 November.
The two men also face misdemeanour counts of destroying evidence, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Witty was arrested last week and released from custody, while Janow is expected to surrender to authorities on Tuesday.
They each face a maximum sentence of four years and six months behind bars if found guilty.
Reports suggest the two men stole the roof panel from a tow truck carrying the destroyed sports car away from the Valencia crash site.
