Former Dexter star Michael C. Hall is set to return to the small screen in a miniseries written by acclaimed filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.
Nearly a year after wrapping his role as the serial killer in an eight-series run, the Emmy winner will star in the drama God Fearing Man, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The programme centres on the true story of Canadian minister Herbert Emerson Wilson who moonlighted for years as one of the most successful American bank robbers in the early 20th century.
God Fearing Man is one of two unfinished projects by Kubrick, who died in 1999.
His son-in-law and Full Metal Jacket collaborator Philip Hobbs is set to produce the project.
Hall, who has previously earned six Emmy nominations for his role in Dexter and Six Feet Under, recently wrapped a run on Broadway in The Realistic Joneses, starring Marisa Tomei and Toni Collette.
