Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil’s new private jet company was launched “out of necessity” – due to the travel needs of the singer’s two dogs.

The heavy metal frontman launched Vince Neil Aviation earlier this year – and he’s currently wooing rock stars to lease one of his three jets so that the airline can make enough money to stay afloat.

According to New York Magazine, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has expressed interest in flying Vince Neil.

But the rocker admits his ambitions were modest to start – he only wanted to save money: “I was chartering airplanes, but it got real expensive. And I realized it was actually cheaper to buy a plane.”

And he finally followed through with the idea when the travel needs of his new cocker spaniels Cakes and Crackers got out of hand, forcing him to take a proper look at his finances and purchase his first jet.
