Kind-hearted pop stars One Direction sent flowers and a sympathy card to the family of a girl who was brutally murdered.
Singer Louis Tomlinson grew up near tragic Casey Kearney’s home in Doncaster, England and he joined his bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik to reach out to the 13 year old’s family after she was stabbed to death in February.
The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers sent a bouquet of flowers and a note reading, “Thinking of all of Casey’s family at this sad time. With Love, Louis (Doncaster boy) and all of One Direction, Harry, Liam, Niall and Zayn.”
Kearney’s mother Kerry Day tells British newspaper The Sun, “It was amazing they took the trouble to send a card. It was a real kindness.”
Kearney was stabbed by psychiatric patient Hannah Bonser in a park in Doncaster on Valentine’s Day. Bonser was jailed for life on Wednesday.
