Disgraced Olympian Oscar Pistorius has landed his own murder trial TV channel in his native South Africa.
Network bosses at MultiChoice are to launch a new channel dedicated to coverage of his upcoming court appearance.
The Pistorius channel will air on 2 March, a day before the athlete’s trial for the murder of his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp begins.
Local news anchors and experts will comment on the proceedings 24 hours a day until a verdict is reached.
The amputee stands accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend at his home on Valentine’s Day last year.
He told cops he thought Steenkamp was an intruder hiding in the bathroom, insisting he never would have opened fire if he’d known it was her behind the door.
