Paul McCartney Crowned Richest Lead Singer In The World

Sir Paul McCartney has beaten Bono to be named the world’s richest lead singer, with an estimated personal fortune of $795.2 million .
The Beatles legend landed first place in the CelebrityNetWorth.com poll, with U2 frontman Bono trailing at number two with $595.2 million .
Jimmy Buffett $396.8 million, Sir Elton John $318.4 million and Sir Mick Jagger $302.4 million round out the top five.
Sting, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Axl Rose and Steven Tyler also chart high on the countdown, while only two women have earned mentions on the list – No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani takes 29th place with $80 million and Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks is at 38 with $64 million .
