The owner of a car driven by Paul Walker in 2009′s Fast & Furious has more than tripled the asking price of the vehicle following the actor’s tragic death last month.
The blue Nissan Skyline GT-R was featured in the fourth installment of the franchise and had initially gone on sale for $412,000, but now a German car dealer has upped the price to a whopping $1.4 million.
The Fast and the Furious star was killed on 30 November when the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT he was a passenger in crashed and burst into flames.
An autopsy determined the actor’s cause of death was from traumatic and thermal injuries, but the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
According to TMZ.com, authorities have called in mechanical experts who work at Porsche in Germany to help them with the case.
Walker was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills last weekend.
