A pair of sunglasses Paul Walker was allegedly wearing when he died have been put up for auction by a seller claiming to have found them at the crash site.
The Fast & Furious star perished in a fiery crash in November when the car he was in smashed into a pole shortly after the actor left a charity event in California.
An unnamed seller, who claims to have been on the scene shortly after the accident, alleges he found the sunglasses in nearby bushes after having been allowed back to the crash site following the police investigation, and he has put them up for sale on auction website BidAMI.com.
The man reportedly did not realize the significance of the shades until he saw pictures of Walker shortly before his death wearing a similar pair. He is also selling a fire extinguisher used to help control the blaze, and debris from the crash.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to wild horse charity Save The Mustangs in tribute to the actor’s significant charitable contributions.
The sale had attracted bids of more than $600 by Thursday.
