Prince William thrilled royal wedding watchers and well-wishers on Thursday by staging an impromptu meet-and-greet session outside Clarence House in London on the eve of his big day.
William, who will wed his fiancee Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey on Friday, spent the final hours of life as a bachelor chatting to enthusiasts camping outside his temporary home.

The 28 year old shook hands and spoke to excited fans and was even overheard admitting he was “a little bit nervous”.

He told his well-wishers, “Oh my goodness, are you going to be alright here tonight? Do you have roll mats and sleeping bags? Fantastic!”

The groom’s brother Prince Harry, who will be the best man at the ceremony, also ventured out to meet fans. He joked, “Is this where you’re sleeping…? Do you have room for me?”

Thousands of royal watchers have descended upon the streets of London to guarantee themselves a good view of the newlyweds after their nuptials.
