Robin Williams gave one TV reporter an eerie insight into the state of his mind during a recent interview to promote upcoming film The Angriest Man In Brooklyn.
The funnyman, who passed away on Monday, was battling depression and the early stages of Parkinson’s disease when he apparently took his own life at the home he shared with his artist wife in Marin County, California, and in one of his final interviews he responded to the question what would he do if he only had 90 minutes to live – like the character he plays in the new film.
Williams appeared wistful as he responded to the question, stating, “Try and connect with my kids and just be with my wife.”
He then paused before adding, “Just be with her and just watch her paint. Love her and just be so grateful and just tell her how much she’s made my life amazing.”
The interview footage aired on news show Extra on Thursday.
Williams’ third wife Susan Schneider was the last person to see the Oscar winner alive on Sunday night, before she retired to bed.
