Pussy Riot stars Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina have been arrested again while taking part in a protest outside a Moscow courthouse.
The two feminist punks spent 18 months behind bars on hooliganism charges following a protest at a church in the city in 2012, and it appears they are notafraid to risk a return to jail.
Tolokonnikova and Alyokhina were both whipped by Cossacks during a protest at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia earlier this month, and on Monday, they were detained with an estimated 200 activists who were taking part in a protest of the sentencing of eight people arrested during a demonstration in 2012, on the eve of President Vladimir Putin’s inauguration.
The eight defendants were found guilty last week, but sentencing was postponed until Monday.
