Britney Spears returned to court on Thursday for a progress hearing in her ongoing conservatorship.
The Toxic hitmaker’s father Jamie was placed in charge of her legal and business affairs in 2008 following the singer’s much-publicised breakdown and hospitalisation.

Spears’ dad has continued to look after her estate and he joined his daughter in Los Angeles County Superior Courthouse on Thursday morning for a routine meeting with Judge Reva Goetz.

However, the courtroom was sealed at the request of the pop star’s attorney to discuss Spears’ “medical issues and financials” and the hearing continued behind closed doors.

Her legal team is working with Jamie Spears to come up with a plan to gradually transfer control of the estate back to the singer as she prepares to wed her fiance Jason Trawick, according to Eonline.com.

Trawick, Spears’ former agent, was also in court to support his future wife.

The star is reportedly due back in court in April.
