British rappers Tinie Tempah and Wretch 32, and male supermodel David Gandy, were among the stylish crowd evacuated from a London fashion show on Wednesday after a heating pipe burst.
Celebrities and the fashion press descended on the Old Sorting Office venue in central London for the showcase of tailor Oliver Spencer’s latest menswear collection.
However, before the models hit the runway, a heating pipe exploded and showered the seated spectators with water.
The guests were quickly evacuated by organisers and had to wait on the street until the problem was rectified, before returning to their seats.
A post on the Twitter.com page of U.K. fashion magazine Grazia reads, “Fashion crowd waits for news outside after pipe burst at Oliver Spencer show, soaking people.”
Actor/model Jack Guinness was among those who strutted the catwalk in Spencer’s new designs.
