The Killers have cancelled three North American shows after frontman Brandon Flowers fell sick with laryngitis.
The rockers have scrapped a concert in Camden, New Jersey on Thursday night, as well a huge gig at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, and Saturday night’s date in Toronto, Canada.
They previously cancelled a gig in Manchester, England last month when Flowers suffered voice problems, and they have now revealed the singer has struggled to recover and is dealing with a nasty bout of laryngitis.
A statement from the band reads, “We regret to inform you that in addition to cancelling (the) show (in) Camden, New Jersey, we have been forced to cancel our shows at Madison Square Garden… and Toronto’s Air Canada Center… due to Brandon coming down with laryngitis. We hope to have a new NYC (New York City) date very soon and ticket holders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets for this future date.”
