Police in Australia have urged Lady Gaga fans without tickets to her Wednesday night show in Sydney to stay away from the city, following chaotic scenes surrounding her appearances earlier this week.
The Poker Face hitmaker is currently in the country to promote her latest album Born This Way and stage a show at Sydney Town Hall on Wednesday.

She stunned onlookers with two surprise nightclub gigs earlier this week, but news about her appearances soon spread and hundreds of fans descended onto the streets surrounding the venues.

Cops are keen to avoid a repeat of the chaos, and have urged Gaga’s followers to avoid Sydney on Wednesday unless they have a ticket for her gig.

Superintendent Mark Walton tells the Associated Press, “If you don’t have a ticket, stay at home. Don’t waste your time coming to town and stand out in the cold to look at a sandstone wall.

“Parents are urged to not allow their children to attend the city if they don’t have a ticket.”
