Bosses behind the Twilight franchise have dismissed Robert Pattinson’s fears that the two-part final installment will be given a restrictive adults-only rating as it is too scary for young fans to see.
The star of the teen vampire movies recently opened up about the forthcoming Breaking Dawn films, calling the next installment a “horror film” and warning there will be some gruesome moments.

Pattinson also voiced concerns that the graphic content will lead censors to either award the movie a higher age rating or force producers to cut out key scenes.

But bosses at Summit Entertainment are adamant the film will clear the censors and be awarded a family-friendly PG-13 rating.

A spokeswoman for the production company says, “Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13. It will not be rated R.”
