R&B star Mario Winans has played down accusations he’s fallen behind on child support payments, insisting he’s always ensured his kids are “taken care of”.
The singer, who wrote Diddy-Dirty Money’s recent song Loving You No More with rapper Drake, is alleged to have stopped handing over cash to his ex-girlfriend Janel Bennett for their son Jordan.

Bennett claims she’s due to receive $4,500 a month and that Winans is four months behind on payment.

She tells the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix, “He pays $10,000 a month for a house in New Jersey and says he’s broke. I was homeless. I had to stay with friends in Chicago. He’s not broke, he just had a hit song with Drake.”

Winans insists he wired $14,000 to Bennett over the weekend and adds, “I take pride in my children – it is what it is – I always make sure they are taken care of.”

Winans has three other children with his wife Joy.
